For the Wii, of course. Don't know how many people have played it, but I see a lot of people trashing it around the internet.
Yeah, it's not a mind blowing game- with a few minor issues- and when somebody comes at you with a sword you put away your gun and pull out a sword (the only explanation I can think of for THAT is that it relates to old Samurais and their honour).
But what's the
real problem with the game? Why do so many people frown on it? Is it because it advertised itself as more than it is? It was a launch game for christs sake. I like the music that plays in gun fights, it adds to the mood and I'm only two levels in but I enjoy it more now than Call of Duty 3, but that could be because I'm sick of war games and wanted something more modern (and also with more
attitude).
Red Steel 2 will work out the kinks (hopefully) but Red Steel 1 isn't nearly as bad as quite a few people make it out to be.
