Parasite Eve 1 was probably my favourite RPG ever. I've read the book that the game is a sequel to. I'm about to watch the movie. I love that ****ing game.

I haven't played the 2nd for more than a few minutes but it seems like they turned it into Resident Evil. I'd still like to go through it though.

Parasite Eve 3 was ANNOUNCED, after many years of waiting for it. FINALLY.
But it's for ****ing cell phones. Cell phones. What the ****, **** you Square-Enix. Yes, nerd rage.

Anyway, let's talk about Parasite Eve. Amazing game with an amazing soundtrack.

Never heard of it, what console was/is it for?

Playstation 1. It was a cinematic RPG, with some downright creepy cutscenes, but the gameplay was amazing too. There weren't random battles, the enemies were in designated areas (much like Chrono Trigger). The battles themselves were awesome, it had the ATB bar that FF/Square is known for, but you could run around, your guns had different ranges/fire rates, etc.

You played as Aya. Good story (albeit a lil confusing). Just a fantastic game that slipped through the cracks a bit.
The graphics don't look horrible today either, except for some of the movements of the characters. Oh well, it was PS1.

Sounds cool. Ill be sure to check it out sometime.

Cool. I like Square Enix games. If I ever find one of these I'll buy it. But I agree that Square Enix is giving cell phones too many games. I mean, Before Crisis is for cell phone, and they even made a version of Dirge of Cerebrus for cell phones.

I couldn't stop laughing when i read that. I feel you're pain. No, i haven't played the game, but it sucks to know one of your favorites is toned down to a 4.99 cell phone game.
