Do we have any Guitar Heroes in the house?

I just bought the bundle for PS2 along with a second (wireless) guitar. In three days the game is half beaten on career mode and I have been able to purchase most of the items due to a load of 5-star performances. I think I am a little obsessed.

Discuss great GH stories, how far you've gotten in the game, et cetera.

I've played a rented issue of Guitar Hero II I think. I also 5-starred the song Institutionalized on Normal difficulty. BAM!

My friend owns it for Xbox 360. It's a great game, but for me I would rather not pay for it because I always end up on the computer. Not on the console. My friends tell me its worth the money though.

It is most definitely worth the money. It seems to be a game that never gets old.

I post again in here simply because Guitar Hero II Encore: Rock The 80's is released today.

And in October... Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock!

The only thing I don't like about the look of GH3 is... NO CLIVE WINSTON!

Haha the best I have done is aced "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'?" on Hard.

I have GH3 now. I suck at it. It's nothing like real guitar so my year of playing bass diligently did nothing to prepare me for it. I can barely do most songs of medium. It is a fun game, though. I like it.

Though I wish there was career mode on bass without doing co-op. It's like, they have the bass parts ready, and they have basses that you can buy and they have the animations, so why not have a bass career mode? It could have been done. I have to go to practice mode and that's no fun. Although if any of you are interested, go to practice, choose Stricken on guitar, and do nothing. The bass sounds wicked cool.

aw i just beat GH3 on Expert two weeks ago......but now my whammy bars broken....it doesn't respond and i even resoldered all the wires in every possible combination.....if somebody could get me a picture of the inside of a wii guitar where i can see the whammy bar parts it would be helpful so i could find out if it's the hardware or my stupidity......but yeah...i was never this good b4 and always thought that if u beat the game on expert u were a guitar hero......so i guess i am a guitar hero :-D

I am pretty good at it, I can do Hard. I also play Rock band, I can do hard on it as well, but the drums I can only do medium, and Singing, well lets not go there, I can barely do easy.
