Well, I've been a console gamer for most of my life (I'm 24 now). So I'd consider myself a pretty big gamer though I don't spend quite as much time playing as I used to.

I never got into PC gaming because I've never had a great PC to play games. I've played a few really awesome games like Grim Fandango (shit I need to go and actually finish it), though. In fact, I need to go and try to pick up some older PC classics... I can't handle new games on this piece of shit.

Haha scrabble isn't my thing. I almost bought the board game (don't know if there's a computer version) of Stratego the other day. I didn't because it's this new DRAGONS AND MAGICKSSSS version and I just want the old one with the colonels, bombs, miners, scouts, etc.

I'd like to try that, because Tim Schafer impressed me with Psychonauts. Brutal Legend? Similar charm, but I haven't really gotten into it yet. Also, I only played it once, despite owning it, because of all the other awesome games I now have. It'll be a while yet, too. There's Fallout 3 and Borderlands, and then FFXIII is coming out in March. It looks good. But I'm not sure if Uematsu did the music for it (he did the music for the whole series so far, or so I understand).

Uematsu didn't do FF12 (well, he did the theme song only, but the major composer was Hitoshi Sakimoto), nor is he slated to do the music for FF13. Masashi Hamauzu is doing FF13. But Uematsu is signed on to do the NEXT one (FF14).

I don't know if I can consider myself as a gamer or a geek? I played Nintendo 64 when I was young then bought a XBOX (not 360) until its end. The past years I've been playing MMORPG like a mad beast, mainly Lineage 1 (for like 3 years) and World of Warcraft (another 3 years) playin' almost everyday couples of hour.
(Anyone played Lineage 1 on LoA server?)

I used to pass my entire days playing these addicting games in summers. wake up at 4 PM, played until 7 AM, go to sleep, wake up at 4 PM, etc.

Am I geek?

Oh...almost forgot, yea I would like to be a video-game tester ^.^

Meh. FFXIV is, as I saw it earlier, another MMORPG. I like the good-ol' story based games. I still have high hopes for 13. They seem to be including the more open flowing battle system of FF12 (no random battles) with the nice structure of every FF prior. But anyway, I'm not sure if I'd like to be a tester. It sounds like a great job, but you'll be sick to death of a game by the time a final, polished product comes out.
