This is one my most favourite PC game. Since I don't have any gaming console, I prefer PC gaming and get my games via torrents. I downloaded this game recently and I really like it. It has got perfect graphics, great gameplay and awesome story. However sometimes I feel it is kind of related to Far Cry that was released earlier.

I haven't played it but I would like to get it if it is ever on sale.

well i have not heard of that game. is it really a great game. well if i think that is a good game then i will surely going to buy that as long as i can afford the price. i have still no idea how that game is being played. i will have to d0 some reading about it.

yo thats awesome i do the same thing, but i was afraid to say the word torrent in here for fear of being ban...

but this game is very very cool.. its amazing... its like the billion dollar man... you are in this suit and it drops these spor thigns that go down into yoru body.. and that give you strength or speed or armor or whatever so its you average first person shoot but you open this menu and change the settings of the suit at diffferent times for different things.. like speed makes you run faster but you don't have alot of armor.. armor makes you run slower but alot of armor... there is even a invisiblity mod but you can't move very much or it turns off... and then strength give you alot of punchign power and allows you to jump higher... pretty nifty twist to a old genre.

Like, I download movies because I can't afford to buy/rent a movie everyday (I try to watch at least one movie a day), but I make a list for future reference, so I know what movies I do want to buy and such.


Anyways, I wanna play this game but I doubt I will, ever. I don't play many PC games. Hell I'm JUST playing Half-Life now!

well in that case i download everything... i wont post links to what i download etc.. i know thats bannable in 90% of the forums out there.. anyhow... the game is wonderful... half-life is one of my all time favorites and guess what they have single player mods that are downloadable for free so just cause u beat half-life doesn't mean the game is over search single player mods or mods in general if u play half-life online. lots of cool stuff.

Do you intend to buy anything that you download? I'm conflicted about this kind of stuff.
On one level I'm an anarchist so I believe in free shit for all.
And on another level, while I still believe in free shit for all, I realize that we live in a capitalist society and money is necessary to survive. Which is where the real problems start. Being an author in progress my view on people stealing/downloading my book is this: I would love if people bought it so I could afford to eat but if someone wants to steal it, I won't condemn them.
I'd be hypocritical if I didn't say that.

But I do believe you should eventually buy whatever it is if you love it or it's pure art/entertainment. And ESPECIALLY if it's a struggling artist. I've ranted about that in another thread somewheres. But it's also understandable if you can't afford to buy everything because that's one of the many downfalls of capitalism. In which case (like with movies), I'd rather see/play/read/touch etc. it than not.

i do agree with you on some things... if it is something i am planning on keeping past one viewing like a movie, i will go out and buy it at a used movies 4 sale type establishment months after it comes out... if its music, i typically don't buy it but my taste change so often in music that i never keep a song for very long. now as for video games, a ripped game on the net 9/10 times cannot be played online due to keys attached to an account etc... with that being said i do eventually by the game if i want to end up playing it online... once agian i feel i am more of a renter for a short period of time on the stuff that i get. i could afford to go out and buy 90% of the things i download, i'm just to lazy to do it. it all started when i was alot younger, and i'd ask for a movie or a game or a cd and my parents would get me everything i ever wanted but it would get expensive and when i started downloading stuff it saved them money, i calculated one year when i was 15 how much money i saved them for that year and it was truely outrageous probably close to 20 or 30 thousand dollars. however mind you because it was free i downloaded more than i probably normally would have baught. as far as tv shows i pay the cable bill, i should be able to download any content that is tv related past or present. the people are still getting their money from me. i go to the theater at least once a week so those people are getting their money from me there. just my .02c more like .50c but there it is.

our society is going into a recession, people are not buying stuff anymore, and prices are about to plumet on alot of stuff with that being the case i might just start buying stuff when its nearly free due to our recession.
