Hi, just wondering what you all think about tattoos, as in are some nice, or are they all completley pointless and only idiots get them? Does anyone have any and do you still like what you got etc?

Some can be good, but I think only idiots would overdue it and cover themselves with tattoos. Maybe one, two, or three, but if the number exceeds five, I don't think there really is a point.
They can be a good way to express yourself, in any case.

I don't have any yet, but I'll get one on my lower back that says Made in Peru, hehe ... I think tattoos are cool when your whole body is not covered with them, like Ich said... my bf has a transformers tattoo on his arm, it's Optimus Prime's face, it looks pretty cool.

I want to get a quill pen on my right arm. I watched my friend get a spider on the back of her neck which was very well done.

some are okay but not a big tattoo fan myself

i think some can look loverly but some people just completly over do it. When im older id like some kind of celtic pattern on the bottom of my back, but only a small one lol =)

I wanna get a tattoo when i get old enough i wanna get one of a cross or somthing religious.

i love tattoo's as long as they actually mean something to you, if you just get it cuz it looks cool its kinda pointless...if you're going to mark your flesh you should put something of importance there

i also noticed the young ladies wanting to get a tattoo in my favorite place for a woman to have one, that being of course the tramp stamp...keep it classy ladies

There are two main types of tattoos that I think are trashy, cliche, and just unappealing in general.

One: the tattoo on the lower back. It's a bullseye. And it's so expected.

Two: Chinese, Japanese, or otherwise-Oriental lettering. Most of the time, you don't even know what it really means. You know what the tattoo artist or the internet TELLS you it means. There are so many people walking around with like "Fuck Whitey" in Japanese lettering tattooed on themselves, it's ridiculous.
