There was a big booth like that at the South Florida Fair this year.

**As fun as the arcade is, don't spam to get those measly 2 posts that it takes to gain access to the arcade for one day. Why not make 2 meaningful posts that add onto the discussion and save you a couple infractions.

Here's the dictionary definition of Spam:
a disruptive message posted on a computer network.

Staying clear of all these posts might just save you getting that infraction that no one likes to get, or send.
Hi! I just want to ask about posting on an old topic? What if I'm just a new member and I found some old topic interesting? Isn't bumping just referring to posting a spam message just to bring the old topic back to the top again? What if it is a sensible post, or a related question?

That's OK in that case. We just don't want a ton of very old topics brought to the top that have nothing to do with this day in time.

I was about to say he's an internet ninja, but Obdurate kind of ruined that image. Anyway, yeah. I love it when old topics start coming back (namely in the debates section) but not when they go on for another 18 pages. That is, of course, unrelated.

i don't consider bumping necessarily a bad thing... specially if you post a topic first thing in the morning and no one responds to it if a lot of other threads are made it could send yours to the second page, and then someone people only look at the first page of unread post.. then your topic gets missed altogether... not saying you should bump just for post count or bump to keep your topic at the top but a bump after 6 to 8 hours of no response on a post i don't see anything wrong with. just my .02c i just think people need to be respectful and THINK before they post...

and ps respectful doesn't necessarily mean being nice!
