my mom worried about us getting chicken pox during school days. i was in high school then. so she intentionally had my brother infected by letting him play with a neighbor who was infected. that was during summer. anyway, my brother got infected, but after 3 days, he was healing so we went to the beach so that the salt water can help the sores. i played so hard that when i went home, i had a nasty sunburn all over my face and back.

then when i was reeling from pain, i noticed blisters growing. shucks! i had sunburn and chickenpox at the same time! imagine that!

then everyone in the house got infected, including the maid and my father, only my mom didn't. so she had to do all the work. and my papa, he had the worst case i have ever seen. he was like gushing pus all over, because he had blisters all over the face, scalp and his body. and they were really big and blistering.

that was one heck of a summer to remember.

what are your chicken pox stories?

you had nice memory. well i had chicken pox during christmas. every christmas we go to bulacan to visit our relatives. since i had chicken pox. i was left alone in my home to spend christmas. ha ha. like the movie. home alone. part 1. i was in high school then.

haha i was in high school too. who would ever forget that...the pain combined with itchiness, oh i couldn't describe how they felt. while my blisters were healing, i was also peeling. lol i can just imagine how it felt back then.

I had the chicken pox when I was really little, I don't think anything interesting happened. Just a normal case of the chicken pox

oh okay, i think that is better. at least you didn't have to go through the ordeal. and the scars heal easily when you them when you are young. i am sure you don't have visible scars, now right?

No, I don't. They all went away years ago

yes me too. nothing really serious happened to me. just the usual blisters. then peeling. i didn't remember the feeling of itchiness. i just rested at home. i was not feeling sick as some people reported experiencing a sickness. well i felt just like normal except for the blisters. and the black thing on the skin.

it was a good thing that i didn't have much blisters, coz if i did, it would be one hell of an ordeal. i just had a few, if i could count them, i probably only had 30. lol but the problem is, most of them are on my back, where most of my sunburn are. lol

good for you lunchbox. did you apply any lotion on them? i remembered applying an oily substance so that the scars would easily go away. did you do that>?

I'm not sure, I was very small. I'm sure my mother put something on them
