Brandon are you conected wirelessly, if that is the case your wireless adapter can communicate with other computers wirlessly that fast, not the internet. Well that also depends on how many mb your router can bring out.

Yeah your computer's connection speed is not the same as your internet's connection speed. I'm on a 100 mbps connection but my internet only supplies 6 mbps.

Yeah, i'm at 54. Thats plenty because I never share files with the other computers in my house.

Well it doesn't change speed wired or wireless, the only thing that can really affect it is if you have more than one computer in your house, and one is downloading something, and then your just browsing to internet, It will be shared between everyone on the network.

WOw, thats alot. your internet should always be fast even if you have any other computers on the same network.

I have 6 or 7 pcs (depending whether my webserver is running) using my internet...

4 laptops and two desktops
(two laptops are really old, like 10 or 12 year olds, the other two are from 2004 and 2007)

And those speeds arent using the reccomended server :P
