aha, this school you guys are talking about must be a trip.
mine? you get a detention for everything, have to sign in and out to go to the bathroom, no hoods, hats, headphones (that one kills me, even during lunch and before school we can't) uhm. just about every thing you can think of.

I think schools have gotten more strict due to Columbine incidents and such. and egos. it's all bull, but w/e.

Headphones are allowed? My school= uniform, hair cant be too long (er-huh), none of the above (as in hats, headphones, etc.) haha. I think schools are strict for the same reason as Silver too.

yeah, that is pretty strict, and I'm not sayin my school is like alcatraz I'm just sayin its not as great as it sounds. But I'm sure you guys would take my school any day...

Its probably because we live in the middle of nowhere and there isnt that much to worry about

Lol. Yeah, it's mostly because of the Columbine incident. After the media got their hands on it, they just went nuts. They started portraying all kids as killers. It's gotten so much worse for youth these days. If only we could have another period like the 60's. Maybe we could actually win back some of our rights.

So that's it ... they feel the need to keep us completly in line to prevent a shooting. I get the concern, but all the eff-wording detentions don't encourage anti-violence, especially in unstable, gun toting wannabes. I mean, look at the recent stabbing. All the detentions in the world couldn't have prevented that. I think a new tactic is required of schools to keep violence low.

In our school, hoods cant be worn anytime during school, if u forget ur homework 2 times in any class u get a detention, 3 times u get suspended, there are no vending machines, not even water or powerade kinda stuff, no baggy clothes, no tears in ANY clothing or u get suspended, even if u have the absolute tiniest hole in a sock, ur suspended, no hats allowed in school, wether ur wearing them or not, if ur tardy 3 times, ur suspended, dosent matter if u just donated a kidney, ur outta there, but other than all that our schools just fine lol
