did you check out the thing about the North Carolina drivers licenses? i went to the actual North Carolina DMV website, and they had a disclaimer about them, about why there's a hologram of North America on the back now, they claim its a "security feature" but thats bull shit

there's this thing called the Real ID act, thats already had legistlation passed for it without Congress voting on it of course, because they're spineless pieces of shit. and this act calls for a national identification card that must be carried by all citizens that would include tracking technology, and a chip that would hold all your information so a police officer could scan it and know everything about you. on the North Carolina DMV site, the disclaimer specifically tries to deny the hologram being any kind of tracking device.

i pose this question to you though, if the three countries do in fact merge, wouldn't we then need a new system of identification? wouldn't they probably be more strict because there's so much more to police under one system, one law. not to mention the riots that would break out from opposition. which under the patriot act, they could strip you of all your rights just because they want to, or because you pose a threat to them.

right now the President has more power then a President has ever had, and he's getting more and more of it everyday, no one is paying attention to him and no one in elected office is doing a damn thing to check his power. this country is going down the shit hole because no one gives a damn anymore, and i personally believe its been set that way purposely, who funds the politicians? who pays to get their agenda's pushed? big business, corporations...this country was sold a long time ago, its unfortunate but right now the people have no say because we believe we have no say. if you poll the average American right now, they will tell you they believe they have no real say in what the government does, and that is the most frightening statistic i know.


oh, by the way...this act is suppose to be put into law by 2008, this merger will probably happen in 2008, and if anyone here has ever looked at my posts about Terrance Mckenna or the time wave zero, that theory states that the next major event in human history will be in 2008. It's September people, its close. whether you believe the crazy shit i spew or not, you have to admit we're in for a rocky road ahead just because of the state of the world right now.

Yes, I did read about the driver's licenses and identification cards in North Carolina. That's CRAZY! I didn't read about the tracking devices yet, but I have been doing a little research. I just find it amazing that this proposal has been on the table for so long, and I have never heard about it until last week...and I bet many, many more people haven't either.

I agree with a lot of what you say. But do you really believe that this would happen in 2008? Without the approval of the US people and Canadian people? (Mexicans would agree to it, I'm sure). I know Canada wouldn't stand for it and I'm pretty sure US citizens wouldn't either...

i believe there will be an event that will force us into this situation. that article claims that the US is intentionally driving ourselves in debt until this becomes the only option, or the option they'll present as a way out.

without approval is an interesting statement, did the Patriot Act have approval by the Congress before it was made law? did the "war" on terror or the "war" in Iraq have approval by Congress before it was started? no...the powers held by the President right now, in this "post-9/11" world, are set up so that he can make these calls preemptively for our "safety". we don't have to know, besides..the government never tells the whole story about anything. When Regan (could be Nixon, im not completely sure) was in office, we secretly bombed Cambodia before Vietnam, and weren't going to say a word about it, until it leaked and we were forced to, if you think thats the only example of something like that happening, do some serious research and be amazed.

The fact that this douchebag cites the Second Amendment at the end of his "The Real Thing Arrives" post makes me question his motives. Said it before, say it again, the Second Amendment is dribble.

I'm not convinced at all by those images. Pictures are being taken of them, no problem. And you can clearly see his fingers are indented where he is "holding" the coin. However, shouldn't there be some kind of shadowing where his finger comes down over the edge of the coin? It's also telling that it's a copper coin instead of a silver one -- since, if it was silver, there would be a reflection of his finger on the coin.

While I was reading "Get me the real thing by any means necessary"... the only question that came to my mind was... why? What motivation would this "Treasury Official" have to risk supposed firing and criminal prosecution by sending this coin to some Conservative nobody in New Jersey with a website and a radio show? Send the coin to CNN, MSNBC, *somebody* with more coverage than Hal-fuckin-Turner.

This just seems like a major media circus to me. I reserve the right to be wrong, as always, but I really see this as "theorists" bringing things up because the USD is going down (unfortunate to burst the bubble of other Canadians thinking it was OUR dollar going UP), to get people paranoid. Paranoid people consume, more consumptions brings the economy up, end of story. Incredibly skeptical.
