In my county, there are gang related shootings AT LEAST once a day. This is with 4,000 Sheriff's Office employees, one of the best and largest in the country. Now in more rural areas, an anarchy might be just the solution. But it can't work for everyone. It would be complete chaos.

I just read this. Are you fucking kidding me?
People need to get into the mindset of anarchy. The only reason it won't work is cuz there's people like you saying it won't. You think police are the only way to "stop" (for lack of a better term) crime? You think that because we get rid of a government/higher officials, that the world is gonna fall apart? That's ridiculous. Your reason- just like so many others- is that it would be chaos cuz we got rid of laws as we know them now... because you think people can't solve their own problems. Because this system has you so mind fucked, without you knowing it, that you honestly think a system that prides itself on rich/poor works. Instead of a society that prides itself on, not a utopia as people seem to accuse anarchists of thinking, but of a more realistic, reliable society where rich/poor won't exist and community exists in a way that it never will in this capitalist society.
But you know what? There are a million arguments against anarchy and there's a retaliation for all of 'em and these are made by people much much smarter and informed than I am, so when you got some issue, don't take it up with me, take it up with these guys/girls:

Go for it, you'll learn something.
And I'm not a mean person at all, but you threatening me makes me want to tell you that I know who I'm talking to: I'm talkin' to an admin who just
threatened me and will probably ban me. Go ahead, make me Andrew Meyer.
