i've just recently started reading the book 2012 by Daniel Pinchbeck, its about the coming apocalyptic event that will be taking place within our lifetime...which is already taking place

i was just curious if anyone had read it, or had any feelings what so ever towards 2012 and what it means for all humanity

this doesn't exactly mean we're all going to die, but perhaps it could, it more so means that human consciousness will transcend into a new understanding of the universe...maybe with a little help from some friends

I read it, I don't think that the asteroid will hit us, we will simple divert it, and push it some wheres else. or break it up into many little pieces so it cant hurt us.

who said anything about an asteroid?

Well I don't remember what is was all I know is that it is predicted that a big rock is coming are way, and by 2012 it is expected to hit us, but we can change that (and we will) by diverting it somewheres else.

the books more so about the shift in consciousness that will come, perhaps from a catastrophic event such as asteroid but, there are alot of different events that are lining up that could all be the cause

it could be that we all die, and because all our spirits will be released from our physical bodies that we transcend to the next plane...when you die, you're brain releases a bunch of DMT into your system, DMT, which can be found in anything from you're brain to the grass growing outside, is such an incredible drug that you are literally launched into a different reality...hence the name Dead Mans Trip

I doubt that will happen, it is more likely that a big rock will hit us and kill us, I just hope we can stop it in its tracks so that no one gets hurt, I don't want to die anytime soon, man just needs to stop ruining are planet, we need to do something about global warming and all that stuff, and we have to start now, before it is to late, ya know?

I loved that. Makes you wonder if that was dead on truth or pun! But dang, believable in so many ways. I havent read it myself. I'm not into those kinda books.

yes i agree, and i think we need to go back to 60s like life with hippies and protesters and awesome music. You know when people actually cared about the planet and guys with afros ruled at guitar.
