I just bought a collection of his movies so it's fitting (for me, and I mean, who else matters but me?) to discuss him now.
Here's his movies! The awards are left because it just goes to show that this guy got nominated or even won an award for everything he put out! Except 3 movies.

1999 Eyes Wide Shut Nominated for Golden Globe: Best Original Score
The collection that I got has Eyes Wide Shut, Full Metal Jacket, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, 2001 and a movie about Kubrick narrated by Tom Cruise (I can't wait to learn more about Kubrick so I might watch that first). I haven't seen Eyes Wide Shut yet. I didn't like A Clockwork Orange when I saw it many moons ago, but maybe now since I have a better understanding of movies in general I might.
So Kubrick puts a lot into his craft, such as, keeping the music going after the credits with a black screen in 2001, or (apparently since I haven't read the book) making The Shining movie the opposite of the book in most cases.
Edit: While editing my post to make it neater I noticed The Shining didn't get nominated or win any awards (according to wikipedia)... wtf.
