Default Rails to trails

Do they have any in your neck of the woods? What's the best one you've been on? Recommend any good hikes?

Iron Horse State Park is a rails-to-trails; it crosses under Snoqualmie Pass, 2.6 miles through the mountain. From the center you can't see the light in either direction, and even on a hot summer day, when it's 90 degrees outside, it can be 40 in the tunnel. It's pretty incredible, and then going through the mountains, seeing the peaks overhead, and alpine lakes, it's gorgeous. Anyone visiting Seattle should make a stop here.

This is a hidden fall about a hundred yards off the trail. I shot this on part of a 26 mile bike ride, with my camera and tripod hooked onto my backpack:

I've never been to Seattle in my life before, and i didnt know that place even existed until now... lol...

To me, the water doesnt seem as... authentic as the other pictures, it stands out a little too much. But it's clear and definitely defined.

Thanks!!

It comes from leaving the shutter open for a few seconds. The water just gets blurry, then super blurry, and then it just turns different shades of blue and white, like silk or cotton or something. That's why I almost always carry a tripod around - you can't hold the camera steady enough to get blurry water without getting blurry everything else.

I'm about to head out on a bike ride right now, but this time I think the camera's going to stay home ... although I'm debating that.
