Okay, with me being back, that means more obscure movies and stuff!
So this one is possibly my favourite movie,
El Topo. A film made by the legendary Alejandro Jodorowsky who is probably my favourite director as well.
From wikipedia:
Characterized by its bizarre characters and occurrences, use of maimed and
dwarf performers, and heavy doses of
Christian symbolism and
Eastern philosophy, the film is about the
eponymous character - a violent, black-clad
gunfighter - and his quest for
enlightenment.
Keep in mind, this is from the 1970s with a very limited budget so yes, some of the effects may seem dated but it's easy to get by it cuz the movie's so fascinating and just... weird.
Obdurate approved!
