i'm just curious who all in here likes anime and manga? what shows do you watch what manga do you read? what magazines do you read that pertain to anime or manga?

magazines, i occasionally snag newtype from a friend at work and flip through it.

oh and i'll admit i used to be really into the yugioh card game and so i watched probably the first 2 or 3 seasons of it.

I want to get involved with some sort of anime project. However to be honest I never have time to be able to watch them anymore. I used to like DragonBall Z. There are others but that was the main one.

the american version of dbz has to much filler for me... a huge example of filler is one of them summoning a dragon ball could be a full 30 min episode... there is really no need in this... they do this whenever they are trying to figure out what the next episode will be about... kinda stupid if you ask me.

i'm a manga fan...i had a lot of collection of it....but the most that i like is Naruto and Bleach....it is kind a popular manga right now...

Yes, I love anime.

I like Blood, Ergo Proxy, Gilgamesh, Ghost in the Shell, Elfen Leid, Black Lagoon, Inuyasha, Wolfs Rain.....

The best animes that I have seen so far are
1. Code Geass
2. Ghost in the Shell
3. Full Metal Panic Fumoffu -- probably the funniest one I have seen

I don't do manga. I really only watch anime now because my job is on the computer, so I watch stuff while I work. Naruto has its good parts, but it is kind of lame a lot of the time.

Actually, I take that back. It is more like
1. Code Geass
2. Cowboy Bebop
3. Ghost in the Shell

I have been watching anime and reading manga for probably six years or so (not counting Speed Racer, DBZ, etc.).

I'd say that some that I would call favorite are:

-Cowboy Bebop
-Gravitation
-Battle Royale
-Serial Experiments Lain
-Fruits Basket
-Neon Genesis Evangelion
-Elfen Lied

Neon Genesis was a complete waste of time for me. It was alright at some points, but it basically just crashed, they cut off the story, and did some psycho trip for the last episodes.

How did they cut off the story? If you didn't like the last episode, but enjoyed most of the series you might like End of Evangelion which shows the last events of the last episode, but not only from Shinji's point of view.
