Don't you think that after an individual has worked hard on an act to entertain us, (sometimes for years, even decades) he deserves NOT to have his work ripped off by posting it on free sites?

The answer to your question is you are wrong.

For all of the years he has done comedy and magic his works are rare as fuck. The mainstream media and entertainment have an aversion to him because of his reputation for "going too far". His live sets are even rarer as venues won't book him.

So, that video is a mere piss in the ocean of Sadowitz' life's work. For someone like Sadowitz the internet is a tool to get more publicity, more popularity and maybe establish something of a resurgeance through a cult internet following of new, young kids. Out of that we may get a long tour or even a DVD. I see it as a taster for people like you to get off your arse and go in search of more of his work. And, if he does a gig, go pay to see him and laugh. Loudly.

I've spoken to someone who claims to be Mr. Sadowitz privately, and we had quite a lengthy discussion involving this video.

Since the claimant could not provide evidence to the ownership of the media or any copyrights associated with it, I denied his request to have the media removed from PureTalkForum.

He made some very arrogant demands stating that I am required to remove his videos. Furthermore, I apologize but I can't simply give out his information.

I have trouble believing he'd see his video here so quickly and demand it would be removed and not have proof of copyrights. Besides, isn't attention good?

That video has been online for ages. I nicked it off a hugely popular forum with thousands of members. But more importantly, the video comes up when you type "Jerry Sadowitz" into Google, so he will have seen it there first, surely.

Anyway, we're missing the point.

Im with bellend on this one, that hippy at the top is talkin crap, its there for people to make them laugh, so what's the problem. I wonder if the saint watched it first before it started to stride the moral high ground.
