No...I don't think we need to start a world war here. What scares me about this whole situation is that the Chinese government let the riots burn themselves out...all they did was sit back and film the faces of the people rioting. That's scary. They can use that to put a spin on it and show how out of control and violent people are. So next time there's a big protest in America, our leaders (who would like to model a world government after the Chinese) will point to that and use that as an excuse for excessive force.
I'm not saying that the people of Tibet don't deserve they're freedom, because they defiantly do. I'm just worried of the repercussions of what they're uprising means for all the other groups that want to rise against.
