its been in its box for a long time
Is it a older monitor or something, my 19in has a higher res than that. Why such a low resolution?

when your sitting less than a foot from a 32" monitor you having to turn your head to view parts of the screen sucked for FPS and MMORPG games... so i downgraded.

When I first read the title of this thread, I thought it was a question of widescreen vs. normal movies, lol. As for the question, I'll go with widescreen.

16:9 is better than 16:10, and is much more standardized. All that it is is basically the 4:3 dimensions squared.

And widescreen, definitely. Anyone tried Dual Monitors? I don't really understand it, I'd rather just have a big one, but a lot of people seem to like it.

I don't have a dual monitor setup, but I do like the idea of it rather than just one giant one because it allows for two separate windows to be maximized simultaneously, which could be more efficient, not to mention really cool.

I had a dual monitor setup and I loved it...so much screen realestate
only thing is it was made with a mix of monitors of different quality and stand height

Tatung L17AMTN
NEC LCD1715

through a system of cd cases I was able to have the screen heights lined up so that I could enable the horizontal span mode on my nvidia card without getting a headache from misaligned text

it would lo
-------------ok like this. (pretend the ---- isnt there)
