Well when I got my computer my index score was 4.1, but now it's 3.0. When I installed updates, there most of been a graphic card update. why would my index score get lower?

So you didn't change any hardware?

Try this: go to c:\windows\performance\winsat\datastore\

Delete all the files in that datastore folder (it's safe).

Then run the index score test again and see if it goes up.

nope stayed the same. idc though i guess. it runs the same.

Probably a driver issue.

well it's the newest one available. everything works the same so I shouldn't worry about it right? well i could show you what it looks like, how do you take a picture of your window?

I doubt there's a problem.

Same issue - score dropped after updating driver but they actually get better performance now.

Oh and if it really bothers you, you can always open up the latest file in here:

c:\windows\performance\winsat\datastore\

with wordpad and manually change your score.
