Something Awful just looks awful to tell you the truth. Over 5,000 members were logged in at once, there are 110,000 in total. They must get a lot of spam, too because 9 users were banned today. The topics...I couldn't tell what anything was for. They all had obscure or generic names (the subforums and the threads).

lol It's really not that hard, man. You must be a pretty simple fella I never see spam in where I look. You do see members making fun of other sections, though. It's a pretty right on forum, like, it has a rule that you can't just make useless posts.

For example, you can't go into a thread that says "List your favorite bands" (in the No Music Discussion part, which is a joke, that's where you talk about music) and just post a big list. You actually have to talk about 'em. The only place where it's acceptable to just post lists is in that Post Your Favorite section or whatever it's called.

I also think you're also not allowed to have generic names for threads like "Slipknot." You'd have to make it interesting like, "Slipknot - Music For Idiots, Made by Idiots."

But it costs to sign up cuz they use up so much bandwith and stuff they need to pay for the site somehow, so I've never signed up. Plus, you get a lot of holier than thou members on there. But I won't deny that there are a lot of them that know a lot about whatever section they're posting in.
