Default My new phone [Motorola]

Just ordered myself a RAZR2 V8 yesterday. Looks to be a good phone running Linux, with a 2" outer screen with touch buttons, and 512MB user memory. The touch buttons have artificial tactile feedback, and the phone vibrates slightly when a button is pressed. And it's 12mm thin, 2mm thinner than the original RAZR.

Should be here around Thursday, I can't wait

Very nice. What are the main differences, if any, between the v8 and v9?

The V9 has HSDPA as opposed to EDGE, it runs a different OS that I can't quite remember the name of (V8 is MOTOMAGX), and accepts MicroSD cards. I'm pretty sure theres other things but I couldn't find them at the moment

Ah, I see. What made you go with the v8 then, since the v9 seems to be improved? Was there a big difference in price?

yeah the V9 was a little more expensive, but I went with the V8 mainly because of the Linux OS

Nice...let us know how you like it when you get it. I really like that tactile feedback.

Yeah, I can't wait.

Also, I just checked and the V9 runs the Synergy OS similar to the V3xx.

Now it's even slimmer! I better watch out, you'll just slit my neck or something...

Anyway, look into replacing the flashlight (if there is one) with a lighter. It's a stupid idea, and most likely won't work, but try to get someone else to do it first (like someone on the A.C.). Hah. That'd be sick.

Oh, and shockproof it too. That one is relatively possible.
