Ok, last night I was playing WoW on my laptop for about an hour or so. And cus it felt kinda like it was gonna burn my lap, so I tabbed out and opened up speedfan ( Download SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer ) and it showed my cpu running at 201F...kinda hot eh?

So im trying to find a way to throttle the cpu down from 2GHz to around 1.4 or so...
so if anyone knows an app that can throtle it that would be appreciated I'd use RightMark but I cant figure it out

What OS are you running?

You can cut down the power consumption and performance in the control menu power options if you're using Vista.

It's Windows XP Professional. It used to have Vista installed until I needed old stuff to work. Speed limiting and media center are what I liked about vista...maybe Aero Glass too I guess

Mine gets hot, too. Get a cooling pad. Works like a charm and keeps it ice cool.

I use this one: Newegg.com - XION Notebook Cooling Pad with Dual 80mm Ball-Bearing Silent Fans for PC and MAC Model XON-CP001B - Laptop Accessories.

USB...just plugs right in and usually doesn't actually use up a port because it has a passthough thingy...
