Anybody here every use Craigslist? I am currently thinking about selling my guitar and amp and I was told to try to sell it on Craigslist. How does it work? Do they e-mail you if their interested? Should I leave my phone number or other sort of contact information?

I am told that it is like a newspaper ad on the internet, except there are literally no fees at all.

Anything you got on it would be helpful.

My guitar is a Les Paul Epiphone with Vintage Sunburst color. Not sure about the Amp besides that it is a Crate.

also, recently a 19-year old woman from my town was kidnapped cuz of it.

I know some people who like it and use it a lot and say it's good, but I have not personally used it so I wouldn't know.

Is that like an E-Bay type thing?

I'll keep that kidnapping in mind. Maybe I'll just stick to eBay and just pay the fees.

I'd also recommend eBay. Although I've never heard of Craig's List, eBay is a well used and well proven way to sell your things. Also, I'm sure more people will bid on it if it is on eBay.
