The iPhone was released today from at&t wireless. I was at the mall today and there was a line that practically wrapped around the entire mall just for the iPhone! IMO, they are very nice phones but not quite worth the hefty price tag.

What does everyone else thing? Big success or disappointment for Apple?

I wouldn't. I don't even have a cell phone. I just want a phone. I don't want a phone that plays games or explodes like a nuclear bomb or scratches my ass (okay, that I want).

If they were cheaper, I'd probably get one, too. Hell, they're nifty. The other thing that gets me besides the price is the fact that Apple made them . And it is quite a success for just a phone, but nothing special. Pretty soon every phone will be like that.

Good, I'm not the only member on here without a cell phone, lol. Anyways, I think after the initial buzz/hype, this will be a disappointment for Apple. I think it's too high of a price. Similar to the PS3, and we all know how that price tag on that has helped Sony.

I think it will be a good seller and all, but it is $600.00, people will by the ps3 first.

I rarely need to call anybody when I'm out and nobody calls me anyway so there's no point in me having a cell phone right now. I'll get one when my girlfriend is pregnant or something.

Edit: And even if people did call me, **** 'em. If I'm not home then they just wouldn't be able to talk to me!
