People can become addicted to e-mails if that's what they mainly use and are constantly sending e-mails back and forth between people. Other than that, I also don't know how people can become addicted to e-mails.

Maybe because their computer skills aren't that advanced.

Well, in my experience, "older" people have a hard time using messengers. They like taking 30 min to type half a paragraph, and can't get used to typing in smaller phrases and using abbreviations. Messengers are aimed more at younger generations.

I try to remember to check my Gmail account each time I go on my computer (usually every day, minus weekends), but a lo of times I forget. I'm definitely not addicted, but wish that Guitar Addiction were so maybe he would reply once in a while.

Dude, this was on the news. The media made e-mail addictions sound like an epidemic. The old folks are only addicted to e-mail because no one sends letters anymore.

Yeah, before "email" Everyone was addicted to writing letters and sending them to people through the mail, now it is through the internet.
