"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1 KJV I personally do not believe you can have faith in science, because science tries to "prove" the reality of things. If there is proof then it no longer is faith it is reality. God could prove His reality as He did in Old Testament days, but then it would no longer be faith that keeps us serving Him it would be reality. Jesus could give us signs and proof of His divinity, but then again it would no longer be faith but reality that would cause us to believe. Some may say that faith is just a weak persons way of belief in something to comfort them. As Obama said when times get tough we turn to God and guns. I submit we all live by faith. We plan for tomorrow because we have faith to believe there will be a tomorrow or that we will have a tomorrow. We educate ourselves to prepare for the future because we have faith to believe that we, if we educate ourselves we can have a properous future. There are hundreds of examples of faith in everyday life thar we take for granted. If you pop the top on a beer and take the first sip you have faith to believe that you will get a sip of beer not water. So it is not such a far strecth to say that I have faith that God exist and that Jesus Christ died for our sins and was resurrected to give us eternal life and that He is coming back to take us to live in a glorious place. When He does then it will not longer be faith it will be reality. You have to have faith to believe in logic.

Gotta go daughter in accident.

It was a somewhat sarcastic comment . I don't have much faith in things that science cannot validate. There could be a god, gods, mental energy, spiritual force, etc but until science proves one way or the other I'm not particularly concerned with it. I'm glad you're daughter is okay!
